I was skeptical about a camera that screws into a light socket, but setup was genuinely simple. I put the Lorex Connect 2K Wi-Fi Smart Lightbulb Pan-Tilt Camera in my garage socket, connected through the Lorex Connect app, and had live 2K video in a few minutes. The pan and tilt covers a wide area, and the adjustable color temperature is handy since it doubles as a normal bulb. Wi-Fi 6 keeps the feed stable on my network. It is not a replacement for a full wired system, but for a renter or a quick indoor spot, it works well.
