I installed the Lorex Connect X3 to cover a long driveway, and the motorized varifocal lens is genuinely useful. I can remotely zoom into the far gate without losing the 4K detail, and the night image stays sharp. The AI analytics have cut down on false alerts from passing cars, and the active deterrence light plus warning siren have already discouraged someone from lingering. PoE made wiring simple with one cable. It is a serious camera rather than a cheap plug-in, so plan your setup, but it does exactly what the description promises.
